the hurst competition plus shifter, bolts to the side of the transmission,
picking up and transmitting any vibration from the drive train.
The Orginal shifter mounts to the frame, generally speaking the Hurst is a tighter more prescion shifter, if you have vibration with a Hurst it most likely is coming from your drive train.
