Ok, Now the key buzzer won't stop!!

Just finished getting the tilt/telescopic in my 69. Hooked up the battery and the buzzer won't stop buzzing. Even with the key in the on position or out of the ignition. Help!!

Just a guess the hair pin is not installed correctly or shorting out. "The white plastic piece with the two fine copper contacts"

You are such a big help. Thank you so very much. Now, before I start pulling everything apart again, is there a quick temporary fix so I can drive the car in the next day to a show? Disconnect the buzzer wherever it is?

Hey! Mine started going off all the time and I was at a Corvette Club party!!! So I popped open the hood and on the driver's side there is a little module near the side (between fender and brake lines). It should be mounted to the side. Unplug one of those wires and it will stop. I think one is the horn and another the buzzer. They might be a total of four. I seem to remember a green, red, and black? It might have been green, but this was a while ago. I hope it helps!
