C-3's with squeezable noses?

Did the C-3 Corvette ever come equipped with the "squeezable nose" of Pontiac Ventura and other GM products fame? Vettes got the poly front bumpers in `73, right? Where these units squeezable? :confused:

My 1980 came from the factory with soft (urethane) front and rear bumper covers. :cool:

soft, flexible... but not the new urathane... that stuff is just a skin... the stuff on sharks, actually follow the body line, not like new cars where its a cover for the honey comb

My 73 had a brittle and cracked flexible bumper made of the same material all the models that came after it. So, no it did not have the squeezable type of bumper you are describing, which was also used on the later GTO's and 69 Pace Car Camaro's.
