As the title say, they work great in normal use. BUT, something is not correct, because the wiper door vacume overide switch below the dash does nothing. It appears to be in working order. Down position blocks 1hose and vents the other. Up and vacume is open between the hoses.
Up, down, hoses reversed, makes no difference. I cannot open the wiper door by it's self. The wiper electrical overide switch works correctly.
As I said, the system works, but I've been waiting till all the major projects are complete, and now may be the time to tackle this.
Any thoughts?
Glenkov48...pull the top hose off the pulldown overide switch(red striped hose)and the wiper door should go up if it does the bleed port in the pulldown is plugged up.If you are plumbed like the above drawing.
edit -one other quick thought. If on the relay the green and red hoses are reversed AND the small hose on the 2 port end of the solenoid is put on the venting port I believe the system would work as you are describing but you would have a full time leak or his unless the second port on the 2 port side was blocked off.(might have to plug the wiper safety switch under the wiper arm also)

Well, probably not. Thanks for the diagram. I have a hose kit from the guy that copied the Dr's kit--the guy that the Dr. sued and collected from!!
The copied diagram has known incorrect item in the headlight system, so who knows if the wipers are correct.
Thanks for your help.
