Double off-set trailing arms?
What is the difference between an off-set trailing arm and a double off-set trailing arm?

The double offset moves in the spring mounting location also. It moves it in about 1 inch either side so if you are running a shortened spring with wide tires it helps the angle of the bolt.

Most people that run the doubles use wide 15" or 16" tire and need them for additional clearance.

Yes, i cut my spring 3/4 of an inch on each side to use with my double offset TA's from Van Steel.
15-16 inch wide tires??? holy cow. I'm barely fitting my 12" tires with maybe an inch of clearance to the frame.

Yes. We recommend 1" off each side as the spring bolt hole is moved in 1".

No not 15"/16" wide wheels, people using a wide tire on a 15"/16" rim
