Speedo Leak

I replace the Speedo - Cable, Gear, Seal, Gear/Seal holder and it still leaks.
What am I doing wrong here, it is very diffucult to work in that area that is covered up by the exhaust pipe and bracket.
The old one looked like it was from an old Auto. Trany and did not fit tight like the new one dose.
I used your write up on Oil Pan Change Out. Started out trying to drop the pan only. Then I used your list, Battery, Steering, Starter, Inpection Plate, Pan, Clean, and reinstall. You might want to make a PDF file for those instructions.

If I have time I might do that today but I will probably wait until I have to do it physically again so I can incorporate pictures.
If I were having that problem I would remove that little O-ring, and inspect it, and try replacing it with a 'slightly' larger O-ring, maybe fatter not larger diameter, and seeing if that sealed it up.
Ace hardware stores carry a lot of O-rings of all sizes and thicknesses. I would just try a fatter one.
