I have a 75 without air, I can,t get it too blow hot air, I think the flap behind the heater core is stuck in the cold position. What is the best or easyest way too access this. Both core lines are hot so i don,t think it,s plugged. I,am not sure how the duct work works on this. Thinking of pulling the core but would like any suggestions first. Thank,s
this is what allows the hot coolant to enter the line for heat, or stop it when off or a/c is on. they usually go bad and remain shut. I had the same problem took a shot and that was the problem. Now i have too much heat! LOL The flap only directs the heat once its coming through the ducts.
im sure there are relays or switches vacuum lines etc involved here too That the experts would know of, but i would try the valve first

Thanks for the advice, but i found my problem. I,ve only had the car for 2 years & never tried too get heat out of it before. I took off the blower fan & duct Too my surprise there is no heater core, just a u shaped copper pipe for the hoses to connect to & a screw holding the flap open. Well guess i have too find a core now. LOL
