This is something they fail to tell you. I called and they said Yes I think the turbo 400 X members do not have the bracket. Well they don't have the bracket. I grabbed some angle iron and did a little saw work and grinding and fitting and made these. I had a friend weld them on and they should provide good support. These brackets are actually heavier than what I have on my stock X memeber. These will probably support the car if needed.
On early C3 with a turbo 400 these brackets are not on the X memeber. The later ones with a turbo 350 have the brackets.
I did not fry anymore brake lines.
Took the member out. Welding was done 20 miles from the car so I think I was safe. It was welded with a Mig anyway.
