18's 19's???

A little overview of the car:ZZ383, dual carbs, hooker sidepipes 1 7/8"
tko 600 5-speed w/hydraulic clutch,sachs cluth-650 ft lbs capable
tranverse composite mono up front, dual mount mono out back
big sway bar up front, little one out back
steeroids rack and pinion
offset ta's out back, stock brakes
Will 18's and 19's fit on this car???If not what has to be done to make them fit
I personally dont want it to look like every other resto-rod out there with 17" TTII's all the way around. I know more than a few of you guys know what i am talking about
18 x 10 with 5.5" backspace and a 285 tire, thats what I ran before the flares. I say 18" and up as the stock width spring will sit inside the wheel with an 18" wheel aiding the 5.5" backspace and get you the ride height you would like. Anymore than 5.5" backspace and the chassis rail gets in the way.
As for an 18" and 19" set up, I would check your tire availability in 19" before you go that route, as 19" tires seem to be limited, 17" and 18" is more common, or even 18" and 20".
