Opinions on clear coating frame
Looking for some opinions on this subject. I recently started the restoration of my 81vette. Posted some pictures awhile ago and will post more as I go along. My question is regarding clear coating the frame. I have completed the POR 15 coating and have applied a semi-gloss black paint over that. Looks good as it stands. I am wondering if anyone has applied a clear cost over this and am looking for opinions on which most like, the high gloss clear or satin clear?
I am partial to the gloss but would like other opinions.

I guess do anything you want to do while the frame is off (because you can't later), but the clear coat may wear off depending on where you drive it. I'm sure some show cars do this and then you can bring mirrors with you to shows.
