I finally got around to gutting the doors. I've cleaned all the window channels and I'll be ready to put it back together after I replace the hinge pins and bushings. I'm replacing all the window rollers and the door glass and I need to know what lubricant to use for the rollers/channels. I'm guessing that the lubricant listed in the Helms manual is out of production by now. Anybody know what to use?
Believe it or not, I use spray white lithium grease. The stuff I got to lubricate my garage door tracks and opener motor. It works real well and after you decide what to put on and use them, you will be suprised on how fast they work
Thanks guys... I've got a can of the white lithium and I was going to use it, but thought I'd better check first.
George... I've been up and around a while, but just couldn't seem to get fired up about anything. I had to totally change the way I live... No more smoking, cut out all the good food, like fried eggs, chicken fried steak or greasy chili and the worst thing is that I gotta exercise 20 minutes a day. I always thought that exercise can't be good for you. If exercise was good for you, then why do athletes have to retire by the time they're 35 years old? :D
Well I use White Lithium grease. But Juliet said the synthetic will stay on better in the water & I told her the car's performance is much better on land  & ........................................ ..
