Frame swap
I want to put a 1973 coupe body on a 1980 coupe frame . The frame already has the 1980 front suspension installed. Can i use my rear suspension. I know i have to transfer the rear bumper crossmember. Can anyone think of anything else?
My 73 frame is quite rusty, like it's got rust holes in it.

The back of the frame is totally diffrent. You need to graft your 73 rear frame rails and crossmember into the 80 frame. The diffrential mounting is diffrent but you could leave it. Just remember it is a weaker unit than the earlier cast iron units
