Does anyone know if roller rockers will fit under a stock LT1 valve cover

Yes they will if you use the thick valve cover gaskets. I use the Fel Pro Fpp 1604 gaskets.

At least mine do. I run CC full roller rockers. I did have to pinch in the breathers under the covers slightly to fit in between the rockers.

Contact restoration station (www.restoration-station.com), they have created short nuts that you can use on your roller rockers. I also think Comp Cams has a short nut , PN 4600-16 that works as well. No thick gasket, no tall valve covers.

Same here while using Crower full roller rockers. You'll be able to see where you need to crimp the breathers.

I'm using them too. I have Harland Sharp roller rockers. The drippers need to be ground off and the poly lock nuts were shaved down slightly to fit with stock gaskets. My heads aren't factory though...they are SR Torquers.

Ohhh, that's another matter. On most stock heads, you will also have to elongate the areas that the pushrods pass through or they will rub. There's a tool specifically designed that holds a bit to grind out that area for for this. But you would probably want to remove the heads to keep from getting metal garbage in the engine. (Could probably be done on the engine if really careful.) Either way, you would need to remove the intake manifold to ensure that you don't get shavings in the lifter valley. And while you have the manifold off, you may as well have "trash screens" epoxied in the valley. (I did as cheap insurance.)

1.5:1 and 1.52:1 rockers do not create this interference.
