I just replaced my fuel sender with a repop - (It was the last original part ).
My original had threaded rods where the harness hooked up. (wiring is not original...). The new one has no threads - it looks like the factory harness has little boots that fit over these and sort of clip on.
However, I was looking at the harnesses from Zip and they seem to have three wires - my system only has two. Is one a ground that I might be missing? I'm searching for my wiring schematic but thought I'd ask the real experts....
My 71' has only 2 wires, the one with the boot that fits over the post, and a ground that connects to a ground tab on the sending unit. The replacement harness (also from ZIP) was identical to the OE one.
