Here's a shot of my current 63 amp alternator. I'm in the process of replacing the LS5 with a hopped up 496 and am upgrading the cooling systems with a DeWitt's radiator & Dual Spal's so a little more juice is in order.
Here's the 94 amp 12si alternator that will eventually take it's place. It was a whole $35 completely rebuilt. I disassembled it, polished the hard to get spots and sent it in for electro-plating. I figured I may as well pretty it up a bit. Not bad for $50 and an hour's worth of polishing.
A few more baby steps on my (never ending) project.
