Needs new clutch or something else?
Well I thought I was in need of a new clutch but now I'm not sure. I already made a post about clutch recomendations after last night but I did a little more testing with it today. For some background, I've had the car out on two different occasions in which I run it through the gears under WOT and when going into 4th the clutch isn't engaging fully or is slipping, revs without noticeably accelerating, and get the burnt clutch smell. Now today I brought it up to about 3000rpm in 4th and hammered it, pulled real strong. Repeated this twice up to about 110. Now I'm confused, is the clutch slipping when hot or is a throwout bearing hanging up, or something else I haven't thought of.
