I was working on converting a corvette from one racing game to another but in the process i need to rewrite the specs, and have googled like crazy but can't find the competition 475hp engine only the smaller street versions
so if anyone could get me these that would be sweet, in metric units would be even better(i'm guessing track means traction)
so far what i think i've found iswhich i doubt is correct
Engine Type: 5.7L V8 2-valve
Engine Location: Front
Torque (NM): 644 @ 5200
Weight (KG): 1350
Weight % F/R: 50/50
thanks

Thats what I got from googling, and thats for a 1970 LT-1, which was rated at 370HP, 380TQ. I have no clue where you're going to get the aerodynamic numbers.
maybe it was a lower cubic inches just upgraded to fit competition specs, the biggest engine i can find is the 70 or 71 350ci, any ides what might have been done to do this, im only finding L88 race statistics not LT-1s
thanks for the info so far!

The production LT1 engine was rated at 370hp.
The production L88 engine was rated at 430 hp, but actually produced closer to 500hp. The L88 was a 427 big block, wheras the LT1 was a small block.
I don't know anything about a production 475hp small block back in the early 70's.... Most of the race cars ran big blocks in that era, and the L-88 was the king of Corvettes.
Well I keep coming across the L88 because it was a GT Racing car back in the 70s, unlike the LT1. The corvette I am converting seems to have started off as a base 350ci LT1 with some aftermarket parts added on to build it up to the FIA specifications(can't be above or below a certain limit), now comparing the car to an L88 seems to be fair competition. Mearly seconds behind is the almost stock regular vette 350ci engine. So I really don't know what motor it is, all i was told is it is a 475HP LT1 Engine. What parts could possibly add that power to a 350ci LT1 or is that not possible?
Certainly there are components you can add to a 350 small block to achieve in excess of 500 horsepower... but what are you trying to do?
If it's a game... what does it matter.
In the real world, the engine build depends entirely on the application... whether it's a street car, a drag car, a track car or simply a dyno queen. They all have different paths to optimise the result.
well we're building set of the corvette racing cars and came across a 475hp LT-1 lol, and its an FIA Classic Series race car, so its got to turn and have power
