Front springs
A year ago I bought some new springs of ebay. They should be BB springs, but I'm doubtful now . Is there a way to id the springs by Length, thickness and number of coils?

here is the math behind it.
The spring rate = (1406250 x d x d x d x d) / (N x D x D x D)
d = wire diameter in inches
N = Number of active coils.
The flattened coils at the ends are not considered active.
D = Mean diameter of spring.
Half way between the inside & outside diameter.

d = 17 mm = 0.67"
Site revers to OD outside diameter 131 mm = 5.16
Number of coils is 8 - 2 = 6
Spring rate is 520
Let me too the conclusion that if you cut one coil from the spring, it will stiffen?
