Trick Flow heads
You know, if the logic is that the heads can support more cam so you should get a larger cam, should this be applied to the rest of the car? I mean, the tires he has are rated to carry a load of 1200 lbs each, so should the car have weight added to it until the tires are loaded to the max? Doesn't fly too well with me
The runners on the heads are not huge and will not hurt port velocity. The cam he is going to use will be on the high side as far as cylinder pressure, but this should balance out pretty well with the thermal loss from the aluminum heads and take away the propensity to detonate as would be experienced with iron heads. Matched up to the converter that's already been picked for the car, it will be a good performing street combination. Pete, give me a call at the shop tomorrow
