Default Manifold Vacuum Fitting

I have a 79 corvette with automatic transmission (thm350) The manifold vacuum fitting on my car has two port openings; one port is horizontal and the other port is vertical. The vacuum modulator pipe fits into the vertical port. This is the correct two port fitting for that model year as it is in the 1979 AIM. My question is does anyone know what other GM vehicles that have this type of vacuum fitting. Eckler, Zip, etc does not carry this vacuum fitting. I have a two port vacuum fitting in which the ports are horizontal and are one over the other. I don't want to cut the modulator pipe to use this fitting. Any help is appreciated.

Is this the one? Looks like Paragon has a big selection.

This is the correct fitting. Why would you need two ports back there?

I broke the fitting off on the vertical port. That is why I need a new one.

I'm at work now and the computer's firewall won't allow to view pics. The fitting in the 79 AIM has two ports on it. The vertical port is where the trans mod pipe fits into and the horizontal port is for the hose leading to the check valve for the headlights. I will look at the pic once I get home to see if were talking about the same thing. I think you had sent a pic of the engine compartment of your 79, it was an overhead shot and was not an up close up level shot of the fitting. I'm not sure if your 79 had an auto tranny.

Paul in your 2nd pic it sure looks like you have a horizontal going to the headlight and dash vacuum.

Well I was wrong! Must have had a senior moment. The pics of my 1979 were taken 8-9 years ago at low resolution given the camera of the day. I sold the car in 2003.

I found another pic that shows both TH350 and headlight vacuum coming off that fitting. So I will eat crow and apologize for the confusion!!

Yes, my memory is fading on the 1979 although I miss it. Sold it to buy my 1967.
