Looks like it just aged out and closed itself. Not sure what the age limit is, but that one is over 1.5 years old.

Sorry for the finger pointing!

Your right! Looking way back these threads time out.
Must be a set up in the vBulletin program.
Is server too small?
I'm On anouther Forum also a vBulletin run Forum and my threads from 03 are still open.
Hope this can be changed! Some of these threads are very good and should be recycled!

I talk to TTurbo fairly often, and he is far sharper than the average bear, having a Chem E degree and all.....

Thats kinda quick to snuff out a thread !
Don't see the point in closing any thread unless it's gone way off topic or nasty!

That was Twin Turbo, or Marck like we call him. He has his own forum nowadays.

You think finding locked threads is bad, go back further and you'll find pages and pages of locked threads where they didn't even keep any of the responses.

Pretty frustrating when you do a search and find that kind of I guess it's more important to be able know who has checked your profile.

Not near as user friendly as it used to be here, or friendly either for that matter

We do have a ton of Canadian members here on this forum, have you made an attempt to get in touch with any of them? I recall a few from Ontario that may have done some radical suspension upgrades as well and might be able to offer some assistance.

You can search for local members to you in the advanced member search function, and you can look using lots of different criteria.

I think it is part of the archiving process that they have to lock the thread to send it to the archive.

Prevents people from replying to an archived thread.... Need a techie to provide the answer, but it certainly is nothing sinister.
