Default Another 1976 wiring question

Ok, maybe I should have taken a few more photos when I removed the engine and all. Where does this wire go? It comes out of a bundle over near the heater box, and looks like a good candidate to go to one side of the AC pressure switch (which curently has nothing attached to it). I see nowhere else on that side of the car to connect it to, my temp sensor is on the other side. It may have been disconnected all along, the AC was inop (dead VIR) when I got the car. The wire is a light brown, which may not show up well in the photos.

You're right, it goes to one side of the a/c pressure switch. The other wire from the switch goes to the compressor clutch.

Don't feel like you are the only one that didn't take enough pictures when the motor was pulled. I did too. There is a thread in here from a while back one of the senior members would sent anyone in here the wiring diagrams for their year car. I know he had the 1980 and I think he had them back to 1976. It was a life saver to me. He emailed me the diagram I needed on 12/08. Check that out.If he has your year , he would send you a very detailed diagram and easy to read.

It will help with all those other wires too!

Have a Great day,
Ray/aka/Pa
