I assume that you have a 1973 Vette and a 1973 vintage power steering pump. All GM power steering pumps up through 1974 had a 9/16-18 UNF male thread on the end of the driveshaft. The driveshaft also had a 1/8 X 1/2 inch Woodruff key. You matched the keyway in the pulley to the Woodruff key and tightened the pulley onto the shaft with a nut (60 ft-lbs).
I thought that the pulley nut was torque prevailing. However, this nut on the Zip Store websight does not appear to be torque prevailing.
