my glass on the t bar's don'tsit right there is a gap on the driver's side ???.
Is there a way to ajust them ?? with shims ???or anything ???.
i put new weather stripping on them and they don't sit right ???.
if anyone can help me it would be greate thank's.

Yes, they must be adjusted and it is not difficult. You need to pick up a GM Service Manual (the one used by the dealerships) for your year vehicle. Your best bet is go on Ebay and Search for "19XX GM Service Manual". This is the bible for working on your car, Get one!

The only way that is seemed posssible to me when I did this on my 80 was to remove the center interior piece where the interior overhead light is. You can access the bayonet points from there. Shim those down. That is the only way I can see lowering the T-top height. It worked for me.

Wait for the new weatherstrip to take a set before you start making top adjustments.
Remember: glass tops sit higher at the halo panel than the fiberglass tops. You'll break a top if you try to get the trailing edges even with the halo panel.

With new weather stripping on t-tops it has a tendency to twist and not seat properly when you slide the top into the slots on center of your top. Remove the **** on the inside of the t-top. Place the t-top onto your car with the weather stripping flat against the sealing surface. Then reinstall the **** into slots on the center of your top from inside your car with the t-tops in place. This will give the weather stripping a chance to seat flat on the sealing surface and not be twisted. After the weatherstripping is seated properly you can adjust the tops by removing or adding shims.
