Dads Car
Another question. According to my VIN, my 73 coupe is just a low performance model. But the rear spring has only 7 leaves. I thought these standard models came with 9. Could someone please explain?

Could be what GDaina said. Could be that the previous owner left the stabilizer bar off, if it is the original spring, it is known when the assembly line is out of parts they will put on other parts to keep the assembly line going? Who really knows for sure???

F-41 suspension had their own set of shocks..not sure if current shocks available today have the same characteristics..also, front coils were stiffer and made the car sit lower.
