Default 66 Radiator Support Question

Tried to pull the cam from my 66 327 non-air car and ran into some problems.

There are cross-bars on the radiator support that matched up dead-center with the cam, so I had to raise the engine. The sidepipes hit the frame, so I had to drop those... one thing led to another, and now the engine is out.

I was looking at the AIM for 66 and could not see the cross bars. So, I looked at various catalogs.. and found that there were 4 different radiator supports for 66... 327 w & wo air, 427 w & wo air.

Does anyone know which ones had the cross bars? All of them? My AIM does not show the cross bars.
My car has a wrong radiator in it as well... the upper hose & the fan belt rub.
Now is the time to straighten the mess out... so... how can I differentiate between the 4 different radiator supports?

Thanks

Tom

Tried 4 times to delete this... sorry... wrong board...

The AC supports dont have cross bars. That was to allow room for the condensor. You can just cut them out.

Thanks guys... it sounds like the car does have the correct support... just a Bubba radiator.

I'l leave it alone and start shopping for a new radiator.
