Dash Pad Speaker Covers
HI
after 35 years of sun the speaker covers on my dash pad have become brittle and cracked as im sure many have. has anybody found an easy way to fix this? the pad is pretty much perfect except the speaker covers have cracked and one side is missing a piece out of the middle. i am thinking about trying to find some rectangular plastic speaker covers, round over the edges, dye them and fix them on top of the dash. Any ideas on some covers that might work? or any other fixes for this?

I am in the same situation. I have actually cut out the brittle and broken speaker holes and am waiting to be struck with a brilliant idea on how to make it look better. I am thinking there might be a little fiberglass work for me down the road, unless there is some place that selles 4x6 speaker covers..
