The header adventure begins!!!!!!!!

Mark B.
It's been a heck of a long 3 days ladies and gentlemen and I can guarentee that I wont be tackeling anything this size again for a long time
The headers are in, and everthing is put back together after several setbacks a long the way. I received some help from silvervetteman today(greatly needed) and I thought that it was smooth sailing...... :smash: :smash: :smash: After initialy having a problem getting the alternator belt on(had to take of the PS belt), I finally managed to get it on, but here's the kicker......and you new there would be a kicker...........When I originally tried to put the Alternator belt back on it came up short. I originally cut off the AC belt or so I thought, could I have cut the wrong belt.......had to be because the belt didn't fit. So I went to the parts store with the other belt I'd cut and got a new one. Now the belt was too long due to this new configuration. So here I sit without a working alternator belt due to this darn header Alternator bracket throwing off the alignment of the belt. I work tomorrow and I haven't even had the pleasure of starting up the beast with the new headers. I will now have to try to catch a ride to and from work, until I resolve my problem. Sure I could start it without the alternator belt, just to hear it run, but I have left the PS belt loose in case I need to switch belts again. Does anyone else have Hooker headers that could give me some advice on what they did with the alternator????
