fuel cell in a 69

has anybody done it? what mods were done if any. i ordered a fuel sump and it needs major modification. like to get a repalement fuel cell

I installed a fuel cell (a 5 gallon drag fuel cell) in my '68.. The only thing that I needed to do was to fabricate custom brackets to hold the cell in place.. Pretty easy install.. You just have to make sure that the fuel cell will fit. Do enough measuring to get the right size fuel cell and also make sure that the opening is going to be accessible through the fuel door.
