@#$&% brake booster, tall valvel cover won't fit. What do I do?
I am running tall valve covers on my big block with a stud girdle. I have tried a few differant sets and the ones I like won't fit because of the booster. I finally have a set that almost fits (3/8 in.) I have the stock brake booster, do they make smaller ones, if so where would I get one. :chevy

There's a system that eliminates the booster and makes lots of room for just your situation....your brakes work off your power steering...I just did the upgrade yesterday....and threw the booster in the trash....lots of room now and the brakes are awesome....pedal half inch to engage pads to rotors...any more and you're in full lockup. I got a set of tall valve covers to clear the booster on mine but it took a little bending and grinding to get it to work but they turned out great once done, don't know if I'd try it that way again though, hated grinding on a 200 dollar pair of valve covers

Thanks for the replys. One problem, I don't have power steering, and have no intentions of putting it on. Isn't there a smaller booster I can use. :chevy
