Default 82 sending units
There are 2 sending units on my 82 engine. These are large brass hex style sensors. one is located on the front side of the drivers side and the other is located near the center of the passenger side. WHAT ARE THESE? I cant determine which is which is which by looking at the electrical schematic.

need picks the one on rh is 02 sencer

these are mounted on the block. the o2 sensors have been eliminated as I dont use the computer anymore

The one on the driver's side is for the Coolant Temp. guage in the dash. The one on the passanger side is for the aux. electrical engine cooling fan for the radiator.

There is also a knock sensor on the passengerside.

I think the knock sensor is in the block, not the heads, which is where I believe the OP is looking.
