Default Power windows

Is there any way to lower power windows when there is no power? The wiring was a mess when I got the car, 73 coupe, so I couldn't lower them. I'm ready to remove the body but I think it would be easier with the windows down.
Thanks,
Bubs

Default Jumpers

Maybe I'm making this too simple nut seems to me you could take the door panels off, if they aren't already off, put some jumper wires in the connector plug on the motor and simply connect a battery or charger to the jumpers. You have a 50/50 chance of getting it right the first time. Just swap the terminals if it tries to go up.

Could you run a jumper wire to your window switch or to the window motor terminals?

Hey Bubs,

I did this a little while back.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...dows-pics.html

One of the motors would not turn, I'm assuming because it had not been used for so long. Beating it with a hammer made it work.

Let me know if you have any questions.

When I bought my car giving the switches in the console power did not work. Going right to the window motors did the trick.
