Default Willcox Sale Ends the 29th

All current forum special sales will end on Thursday, January 29 at 12:00 p.m eastern time.

This is being done to allow installation of the new updated prices as well as make some changes to the site and how forum members can obtain discounts. HINT: If you need interior products my advice would be take advantage of these prices! This will be the last time these parts will be available at these prices. We will be turning on additional links for this final week, so check back!

Site Changes Coming

For some of you that have noticed, we have started implementing a few changes in the site already! One would include having the pictures show up on the site when you look at the descriptions. We feel this makes spotting the part you need easier! We have also hired another employee and their sole job is updating and putting pictures on the site. Most of you that visit the site often have probably noticed the amount of pictures that have gone up in the past month or so.

To view the current sales for your car please follow these instructions.

Go to Http://www.willcoxcorvette.com

At the top of the site there are three search boxes.

Left hand box: Select: Your Year
Center box: Select: Forum Special
Then hit search!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at Willcox@Willcoxcorvette.com

Thank you,

Willcox Inc.

Do ya'll sell the original Urethane bumbers? If so, how much are they and
what's your opinion on the Urethane type? I need a front bumper for my '76 but have seen alot of posting about "fit' issues with the Tru Flex type.

OK, just found the Urethane bumper on your Web Site @ 179.99 (#22196).

Personally, they all fit about the same.

We are doing a car by car picture catalog of original cars right now showing how horrible the front bumper fit from the factory. We have a 20k mile no hit original car in our shop right now and the edge of the drive side front is ¼ “ from hitting the fender, the rh side is only a shade less.

We also have pictures here of other cars and it appears the variations are plenty. On my own car back in 79 the front bumper fit was horrible on the passenger side and fit good on the driver side.

I don’t think you’ll find anything that will fit perfect! We will only install urethane on customer’s cars when they request it! This is the only time we will do it! With the flexy glass covers you can work them and fill or add material to make them fit perfect.

IMHO,

Willcox

OK, thanks for the info.

By the way, what is the hole in the middle of the urethane bumper where the License Plate is? I see it in the picture on your Web Site of the urethane bumper... Not for sure but I don't think that hole is on the bumper that is currently on my car..

Thanks again,

As far as I know the hole should be there on the urethane bumper. I'll have to check.

Liquiddragon,

The idea for turning the links back on was to allow people that missed our last sale one more chance to purchase before the price changes go in effect at the end of the coming week.

We had to close today due to the sever weather in our area. As many of you may know we are 1 mile north of Louisville, Ky. Today was the second largest power outage in Kentucky and Southern Indiana History.

This morning roads were closed to public travel due to the sever Ice storm/Snow Storm that moved through the Metropolitan Louisville area the past two days.

It is our understanding this storm is finally finished hammering us, however they do not expect the conditions to improve for a few days. We are opening up tomorrow with only a skeleton crew and should be available if you need assistance.

A new announcement will be posted tomorrow with updated conditions.

Sincerely,

Willcox Inc.
