Lower Manifold
For the lower intake, it is 30 ft lbs.

Start out with snug, then go to 15 ft lbs, then go to 30ft lbs in a criss-cross manner, if you dont have the book to show you the pattern.

Clean the threads with brake cleaner and use blue loctite on them as once you put the upper plenum cover on, you cant access 6 of the 10 bolts without removing the top plenum again.

Upper Manifold
Use 15ft lbs.

Use a similar criss cross and go snug then to 15. Thats it.

Use FelPro gaskets set and do not put RTV all over everything. Install dry except use large bead of RTV at the valley ends as instructed. CLEAN the block and manifold at the valley end with carb or brake cleaner before you install with RTV.

Do not use teflon tape on any pipe NPT connections. Use loctite high temp thread sealer as it seals and resists vibration as well. Do not use any sealant at all on any flare connections.
