Default 78 Electrical Question

While trying to replace the lite bulb in the low fuel warning light in the dash I blew a fuse. The windows, guages and a few other things were not working and when I turned on the lights a buzzer was constantly on. I fixed the fuse and everything went back to normal except the charging guage shows nothing and the generator lite keeps coming on. The car is charging and running fine. When I put the key to on position the gen lite does not come on and after I have driven for about 3 miles it comes on and stays on till I turn it off. Any ideas on what I should check next?

Thanks in advance.

Andy

So you moved the gauge cluster. I'm not sure yours is the same as an 81 but that flimsy flexable circut board was a pain to clean and get all the connections to work. If it is the same that's where I'd start, I had a a lot of problems with mine, check and clean all the connections.
