Performance Parts in Canada
Well I've been buying some parts for my '79 Vette from Mopac Auto out of Calgary Alberta. They are great to deal with and almost always have exactly what I want, in stock. Now, I'm looking for headers and based on what I read on the forum here most people prefer the Dynamax Ceramacoat Headers. Now the problem is, they only carry Hooker and Headman Headers.
Here are my choices:
(1) order the Hookers at $559 (Canadian) which is about $370 (US) plus shopping from Alberta to Nova Scotia
(2) order from another speed shop in Canada (but who else carries the Dynamax and how can I contact them).
(3) or from Jegs or Summit

This may seem a liitle strange but try Canadian Tire. They have a pretty impressive performance catalogue. And in $CDN. And in my experience, if it is not in the catalogue, they can get it for you. Try the counter guy over 40.

I biught the catalogue ($8) last week. You will be surprised at the number of top name brands that you can purchase through them ie. Hooker, Hedman, Dynomax,Cyclone and Blackjack (I understand that these are not that good though but are owned by Dynomax), no prices in this catalogue so you will have to check at the parts counter.

Not sure if Karbelt is in your part of the country but they are performance specialists. I agree though that I would first go to your local Canadian Tire and see what they can get for you.
