72,
I put in 2003 sport c5 seats in my 74. I put all the orange together for the + side.
I put all the black together for the - side. These were 6 way w/lumbar. Hope this helps.

Default c5 seats

thanks for the info , got them in and they worked as you said .
I cut the rivots off the front rails and trimmed some metal off the
front arms and used a 3/8 spacer under the front rails they fit real nice.

You must be short or have a short torso. I'm in the middle of putting C5 seats in mine too and with the stock C5 tracks they sat WAY too high. I ended up fabricating some brackets to bolt them straight to the floor. Me and my father are the only ones that ever drive it anyways and we're both 6'+ so all the way back is where the seats will always be anyways.
Here's a few pictures and unfinished write-up I've done on my install.
Good luck with yours.

Travis,

Very nice work on the car. You might pick up a little hp if you go for a higher performace air cleaner. I just figured since everything else was so nice...

I have C5 Z06 seats in my '69 and the seat motors made me feel like I was in a truck. If you guys do figure out how to incorporate the motors, please let me know. We figure the seats alone added 2" in height sans motors...

Glassman,

Very helpful should I get the motors to fit! Thanks!

THe motors fit fine but the arms that raise and lower the front end of the seat are the problem. I trimmed them off in addition to the rivots [4] holding the front legs.
now mount the front using the existing front rivot hole after centering the seat. The c5 slider is narrower but drill the new holes in line with the old one and it will catch the reinforcement bar under the pan.I used a 3/8 spacer under the front mounts only.
drill new holes on the rear mount offset enough to catch the underlying steel and your done.
The seat is app. 11/2-2'' taller than stock .I,m 5'9 and a 6 footer will need a bubble top
Thanks for the input guys.

Thanks; So you were able to keep it the same height as without the motors essentially?! Great!
