Hey guys,
I've searched this forum but haven't had any luck finding a picture of how the right-hand (passenger side) duct is set up on cars equipped with a dual snorkel air cleaner.
I would like to convert my 76 to use a dual snorkel cleaner. I have obtained one from a member here, so now I'm weighing my options for the second snorkel. Would one or more of you mind posting pictures of where the second duct goes and how it's attached to the car?
there is a plastic intake at the front that bolts down and attaches to a side plastic intake. that then attaches to the accordian hose to the air cleaner. best pic i could fine of it so far.
I don't know which I have, nor when my '76 was made. Do you have any pictures/illustrations about the differences?
EDIT: My car's birthday: December 11, 1975.
You have an early '76. The rad mounting brackets, on top of the shroud, are too close together to fit a stock dual intake center inlet from later cars.
"speedreed8 you'll need all this stuff, zip-products has it.
ac-221 flex duct front
ac-222 flex duct by fender
m-2614 center inlet duct
m-2613 side inlet duct "
Could not find a m-2614 center inlet duct, on Zip's web page. Speedreed8, did you get the number wrong? What year is this duct for? '76 is rather unique, and that is what we are talking about. A '79 center inlet duct will not fit between the stock rad mounting brackets, unless you know something I don't. Please enlighten me!

Do you know if later model brackets can be retrofitted to take care of this, or is the core support shaped so differently that it won't work?
I found the center inlet duct on Zip's pages by searching for "center inlet duct" for a '78 model.
