Anyone do a rack and pinion conversion

Steeroids kit and the VBP Rack Attack kit are what your talking about.
I fully recommend them. You may have to clearance your frame at the rack input pinion to clear the locking set screw. I hit it with a 4inch angle grinder.
I also recommend you replace your steering column lower bearing so the is ZERO end play in your column shaft.
Setting the double U-joint is easy if you FULLY seat the lower U-joint on the rack pinion and stretch the upper U-joint as far up the column as possible.
Those are the gotchas and other than that, you'll love the feel.
