Driver's side Mirror

Hello to all. I am new to this group and just recently purchased a 1974 Corvette coupe. I am going to replace the door panels and am having trouble removing the remote mirror control from the door panel. I know this is probably simple stuff, but I am very green at this and would appriceate any help I can get.

Should be two screws holding plate to panel and a small allen set screw attaching the cable to plate. At least that's the way my 77 is. :smash:

I didn't think that the 74's had remote mirrors. I thought that they didn't start that till 77.

Does not show remote control mirror as a option for 74 in my corvette book.

Thanks for the insight on the mirrors. I just recently bought the Vette and am not as up to date on all the options all all you experts out there. I guess they where added by a previous owner. Any, when I get how from out of town, I will look for the allen screw. Thanks again.
