Default 1979 Registry update

As some of you may have noticed I've been more than busy working on the car and haven't had that much time to work on the web site. Now I have week or so before I can continue on my car and I thought now it would be good time to put something together.
Here is the raw version of the actual front page:

Sorry about the size...

And here is the actual 1979 Logo I think we'll be using:

if you're not ok with it, please let me know and we'll make new one.
Now you all 79ers out the can pic up your own logo here and start using it so other people will notice that we are finally having a nice registry of our own now!!!

NOW, what I would like to have from you guys is loads of pictures of your own rides for the picture gallery and hopefully you'll find the time to back it up with short history. And those of you who have done some major resto-, engine-, tranny-, frame or chassis, work on your cars and you've it all documented with pics and stuff, please send them to me and I'll try to put different type of Tech tips and restoration stuff for others to find.

That's it for now, please show your interest here to keep me motivated  :nopity

I lost my 79 a couple of years ago to getting rear ended. TOTALLED
But I would gladly share some of the information on the car with you for your registry if you would like. I even have a few pictures of the car.

Paul, pretty cool that you have that pamphlet too. Of course, mine is tacked up on a wall opened up to that beautiful yellow L-82 that looks oh, so similar to mine. :D

The page looks good man!! I'm looking forward to adding my car to the registry! The only pics I have worth publishing are posted on my C-F site (in my sig.). But I'm hoping to get some more soon.... If you are interested, I could probably look into getting the "Restoration Package" I purchased from GM vintage Canada...

Keep up the good work dude!

Please let me know the URL when you're ready to go. I have a list of all the Corvette Registries on the '70 Registry site and I'd like to add the 1979 Registry to the list too. :) ~Juliet

i'm glad someone is doing this,as i don't have a clue and my time is also limited. don't take this wrong but the side view of the 79 vette at the top of the page and then again towards the bottom doesn't look right.the wheels and tires look out of whack with the body and fenderwells. MHO

JCL: Just read you email, thanks! I'll look forward to get you 1979 Package! :)

Rose: You've been in since day one!!! I really like what you're doing there. I'm putting up a project page where I would like to use some of (read all) the pics on your web site or maybe just put a link to your web site, let me know whadda ya think. :D

Red79EB02: Sorry to hear that man. Maybe you'll take some new ones and send them to me and I'll put them in to the picture gallery. Either way it's good to have you on board!

Eddie 96: Sorry hear that another Corvette was totalled but still glad that you're ok. Yes I would love to have those pictures and if you jsut could, some history behind them as well. :yesnod:

79er: I want it now!!! (your 1979 package that is)

VetteKitty: You're in! Basickly what I need from you is story about your car and as many pictures as possible.

Paul79:Thanks for the the kind words. I just about to finish the car-of-the-month page and I could use some history about your car, like how long you've had it and what you've done to it so far, etc... If you just could send me a story about it via email, I would highly appriciate it. Hope you'll like the final product. :smash:

sharklover: What kinda of numbers do you think your car would run on 1/4 mile? How do you like that true dual set up? :D

NorthVette:Thanks for the input. I just looked at your site, looks good! H&ll yeah I'm interested! That would be so great!:)

Juliet: Will do! :chevy

Fleetwood: I'll put register form in that you just fill and submit, easy as that. Looks like this is going to be "multi cultural" registry as well, Australia, US, Canada, Finland, Uk and counting!!! BTW are you documenting you restoration in any way? If you're would you like too share some of that with us maybe?:D

Gary79: Thank you very much for the input. Like mentioned above this is still the raw version and I'll continue to work on it to make it perfect. Looks like we are going to have nice amount of members to begin with!

Jaxtoy:Thanks for the cheers. I think we all are proud of our cars and that is why we should join as a team! :)

Tom T: You're in. Is that green the original Corvette dark green you got there? I've been drooling over this one picture I have about green on green 1979, beautiful colour combo IMHO. BTW do you have any photos about your ride?
