I'm ready to install an Edelbrock Performer rpm on my stock 350. Any suggestions on what I should add while I'm at it. The hooker sidepipes are going on eventually, but I thought while I'm going this far, there might be something else I'm missing. Any thoughts???
I did see some members that used a dropbase air cleaner and made it work. So, I'm hoping a new hood purchase isn't in order. If anyone else did this swap, I'd love to hear from ya.
Yeah, the thought crossed my mind, but I thought I would start off with something I could handle. I would consider myself a rookie with this engine building stuff. :o
I have a 1980 with stock hood, performer manifold, dropped base air cleaner w/ 3 inch element, no hood clearance problems.

*edit* Sorry, I didn't catch the RPM, mine is a regular performer, I am not sure, but I think the RPM might be a touch taller, although I may be thinking of the Air Gap.....
