Cooling System
Just installed new heater core in my 69. I had the heater hoses bypassed for 24 months before I had the nerve to try to change the core. Does anyone know how many quarts of coolant I will need to fill the system. The car is a 350cu with 300 HP no air. Thanks

Per the 1969 Owner's Manual, pg. 65: For cars with heater, Manual trans, std. radiator 15 quarts. Same with Heavy duty radiator 18½ quarts.
Auto trans, std. radiator 18 quarts, same with Heavy Duty radiator, 18½ quarts.
Footnote: Add one quart for surge tank where applicable.
