Doug,

We are very excited about this project. It is a great collaboration between a lot of good people on a very cool car. We will do what ever we can on our end to make this go as smoothly as possible. We are going to give your car a little massage, 2nd Generation style.

Cant wait!!!

Stan and his #2 are flying to Houston to do a proper install on his front and rear fender flares, to glass in my lower rear panel and help me fit my L88 long hood. We're on a tight schedule now to get the car assembled and in good enough shape to go to BG. Will NOT be painted or all that pretty but the sound will make up for it!

Looking forward to it!

Doug

Be careful Eddie. The HP might leak over to you but it's costly! There's no telling how much Jim has cost us.

I'm just an *enabler* helping people do what they really wanted to do anyway!

Now Eddie....about that new motor........

I knew I was in trouble when Jim or Patrick (one of the Temptor's other agents) mentioned that it was going to cost as much to build a 555 as it did a 496 since I had to start over anyway. No disclaimer at the time that that meant an entirely new tranny, rear end, bigger meats, fender flares.....

Beware the Temptor!

But he is right...he is an enabler of what we actually wanted to do anyway.

I have videos of the dyno session but they are too big for fototime. Trying to join youtube to put em up. They rock!

Mike and Nick both were working me pretty hard the night we rebuilt the 327. My best defense was to convince them I would sell the car and buy a BB car. I think they bought it.

Post some pics..........

Okay so sorry for the delay. Here are two videos of the engine dyno. Delay was getting them put up on YouTube. Enjoy!

Oh yeah. That is sounding pretty mean. I may have missed it, are you going with sidepipes or undercar exhaust?

Hey...that's almost like being there!!

We did that about 35 times or more those two days!

I think Doug was thinking to himself...*are we done yet?*

We were thinking about hooking a blood pressure monitor up to Doug during the testing!

Sidepipes. I am currently mocking up everything on the motor before we put it in the car. Every nut and bolt so I know I have everything before we go forward. I've hung the sidepipes as well in preparation for laying in the spark plug wires and looms. Will take a pic of THAT before we dismantle everything to put it in the car. Looks like a rocket ship with the sidepipes!

Talked to Mike Gentile yesterday at Universal Spinners. He is hooking me up with a 16" drop base aircleaner that will make the most of the space I've got under the hood. A very nice piece of work on the cover. I also like his ride...not for the weak or faint of heart. He also has 2 69 Camaros, both heavily modded. What's not to like eh?
