Does anyone know where I can get a good picture of the rebuilding process of a power steering pump (Saginaw), I've got all the way to the part before putting on the reservior can't remember which way the metal part and filter(assume that what it is) goes in have an article from The Corvette Restoration but does'nt show this.
First the spring (5), then the flow control valve (6) with the hex end and screen first, then the discharge fitting (24). Make sure that if you replace the o-ring (23) on the discharge fitting, you place it in the groove nearest the hex.
