Default Squeaks & Rattles

How can I reduce the interior noise? I know sound deadener will reduce the outside noise, I want to reduce the squeaks & rattles that come from the interior and T tops. My 74 Semi-Pro tourer would be much nicer if the only sound was Stereo and exhaust system. Any help out there?

Put an amp on the stereo
Seriously, I have the same thing with my 82 and can't figure out how to stop any of it. Most likely caused by the fiberglass body flexing and rolling too much.

I'm doing some of that as I go. My method is to isolate one sound and figure out how to kill it and then go on to another one later.

I've always thought that most of the squeaks originate from the plastic interior pieces rubbing against the metal substructure as the body flexes. I haven't tried to reduce these noises because I typically don't hear them with the windows down, t-top off and my loud exhaust. However I've often thought that placing some sort of rubber (or other material) on the backs of the interior pieces to isolate the plastic from the metal may help. In fact now that I think about it, I believe that Chevy did this on the C4's.
