Has anyone heard of Wheeler Power Products out of Jacksonville Fla.? The website states that they have been in business for a while, but I searched here, Digital Vettes and the web w/ no hits. Wheeler has alot of real nice motors on the website. Any info is appreciated.

Hi Al, a buddy of mine got his 421 SBC for his 71 chevelle built at Wheeler & he loves it. He said it dynoed at 600hp/610tq & my SOTP dyno says he's right. He drives it a lot, even to work sometimes (50 mile round trip) & turns low 11s at the track. Been doing this for 3 years with no problems out of the motor. I think his only complaint was that it took around 8 weeks to get it but that doesn't seem that long to me for a badass motor. Anyway, hope this helps a little.
Hey Al just wondering if you managed to talk to these guys yet? Im highly interested in getting a crate from them and being able to go to them directly and see what they can offer is awesome. Have you taken a trip to their warehouse yet? It would be awesome to watch them build up your own personal motor and then pick it up right there.
I've got a Wheeler engine I ordered and picked up in Jacksonville, Fl. It is not in my Vette, but in my Chevelle. I bought a SBC 421ci complete engine, on the recommendation of a friend who has a Wheeler engine in 2001 or 2002, and it is bad to the bone. I cruise and take the car to the Gulfport,MS and NoProblem track 6-8 times a year and have not had one problem. Everything is what they said it would be, just a little slow on delivery. I did wait about 2 months for delivery...but it was well worth the wait! Good luck.

Got a wheeler 406 forged rotating assy. Just getting broke in, but best parts for the price I could find. All was nice quality stuff. Did take a few weeks longer than told to receive. So far I would use them again.
wanted to leave feedback as I used this thread months back to make a purchase. I bought a motor needing an exact timeframe for delivery as my truck was out of state. They promised delivery in four weeks and it came two weeks late. Sure set me back. I had made calls for updates, so I wasnt concerned when they told me it was being sent out on time that fourth week. The original builder never returned my calls until it was finally sent. Nearly reversed my charges.
The motor is just fine and completed break in but very disappointed in the late delivery and unprofessional customer service. I wouldnt recommend doing business with them.

I've heard tons of great things about thier engines and you won't be disappointed with the motor once you get it and get it going but good luck getting it. I went through the same thing. We were promised the motor on a certain date and couldn't get answers when asking about it. The office people kept saying they needed to talk to the builder to get answers. I'm not sure what all went down but my buddy had to go back to Iraq so we still haven't gotten the motor installed. It does look good sitting in his garage. Maybe one day his Camaro will drive under it's own power again
