Default annular carb boosters

Hi,
can anyone tell me the difference or the gain from using a carb with Annular boosters over regular ones?

Annular boosters can provide better throttle response and improved drivability over other types of boosters. They may result in slightly lower peak HP since they are more restrictive that doglegs etc. to overall airflow (depends on carb sizing etc.). I have used them on my 830CFM Holley 427BB with excellent results.

I changed my 825 Race Demon to annular boosters and it is better on the street, seems like more torque in the lower RPM's, you basically go one size bigger carb and put annular boosters in it. Or just swap what you have it won't make much difference size wise. My carb flows 975 cfm according to BG

I don't think that you can get Holleys with annular boosters in less than 750 cfm size (couldn't in the past) if that's an issue to you.
