Default New Holley installed

I installed a 3310S zink plated 750 vac Holley with a Summit fuel line that has a built in filter and gauge on my 350 with a RPM intake.
I used a 10 inch round Edelbrock air cleaner. All fit good and runs very smooth.I am going to hook up the manual choke soon.
Also installed a Accel moduele in the HEI and gapped the plugs .050,noticed a difference with better smooth idle and less rich exaust smell.
All was an inprovement which is unusual when spending money trying to gain something for my money spent!

That's the same setup I'm using and am very pleased. I didn't hook the choke up though....I just have it locked open.

Good Luck with yours!

I'm about to install the same carb on my 76. I have a thread on this topic actually, http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=227677. Did you run into any issues with mounting the throttle linkage on the manifold? I don't know the differences between the 76 and 79 so I may have a different setup. The stock carb on my 76 was a Rochester model M4MC. Any help would be greatly appreciated! (This is my first reply on this forum so if I mess it up somehow, let me know ). Thanks.

Do you still have the vacuum switches on the thermostat housing? If so, how much clearance do you have to the Holly? Measuring mine on my Performer intake it looks like 0 clearance. :cry

To be honest I'm not sure. I'm in Corvallis, OR right now attending OSU. The vette is in Coos Bay where my Father just let me know that the carb arrived in the mail. I'll spec everything out this weekend and get back to you. I didn't think to check for clearance to the vacuum switches! Thanks for the heads up! Actually the engine is on the stand and I'm looking for any rerouting I may need to do to get the carb on. The vacuum tree is in the manifold just behind where the carb sits and I've got the thermostat housing plugged as the thermostat is in the cylinder head. This is my first vette engine and I hope I don't get that mixed up! Let me know if I've got things off.
Nathan

I use a CSI throttle cable bracket, you can get it out of Jegs for about $50 but it works very good.
I like the Summit fuel line with the filter and gauge ,now i don't have to have one inline.

Sounds like a great idea! As soon as I get the engine in the car I'll let you know (hopefully this weekend, but that depends on how busy school gets me.)

By the way, would anyone have a rough estimate on the horsepower output of the setup in my signature? I was shooting for around 350hp.
