Default Round Mufflers

Im looking to find a set of mufflers that will fit under the stock 69 sidepipe covers. Im looking for the quietest ones possible. Thats right. The reason I want them quiet is because when you drive on the highway they kinda drone and get annoying. I also have exhaust cutouts so when I want it to be loud I just need to flip a switch. Does anybody know of some quiet round muffler?

I used Car Chemistry baffles to quiet mine down. They insert right into the pipe or the collector or wherever you want, they did the trick on my under car 3 inch system, do a search, they have all kinds of neat stuff

Those seem like they would still be pretty loud. Anybody else have some ideas?

My friend said he saw that sexy new Z06 crack window glass at the flip of a switch.

Is there a kit for going from quiet to obnoxiously loud without an exhaust leak on a C3?

if you think exhaust cutouts sound like an exhaust leak you have some problems. if you are saying that they leak exhaust even when they're closed I would disagree with you again. The old mechanical ones were made of cast iron and they leaked and cracked and werent very good but the new electric ones are billet and some even have a life time waranty. my room mate has them, they dont leak and sound awesome

I used Cherry Bombs under my '69 covers. It's not loud, but they're still pretty new. If you want, there is room to put 2 mufflers end to end under the covers. That should quiet it down some.

Use 2 or 3 of these each side in a 3" pipe. don't plug the center tube. Performance and reasonably quite.
I've driven 250 miles with just 2 per side, not bad.
